Amy Beach is an american pianist and composer. It turns out that Amy had both perfect pitch and a set of colours for musical keys. One story said that Amy's association of certain colours with certain keys. For example, she asked her mother to play the purple music or the green music. Her mother encouraged her to relate melodies to the colours blue, pink or purple. She associated the colours with those keys like C was white, F sharp was black, E was yellow, G was red, A was green, A flat was blue and D flat was violet or purple.
